I’ve got to say. It is really, really satisfying to peel anything away from anything, but getting to do that to a brain (though admittedly not a very fresh one) was extreeeeeeeemely satisfying.
But no, patho, no chance in hell am I making you my specialty.
I’ve got to say this is the first time somebody has verbalized the satisfaction one gets from peeling anything from anything and I am AMAZED that somebody else in the world gets it.
Kay, WTF. We really are soul sisters. Or the same person.

I remember our dissection days back in LU 3. This was also one of my favorite tasks during dissection: peeling fascia, muscle groups from each other, connective tissues surrounding nerves and vessels. Ah, cleaning up the tissues from vessels so that one could trace them perfectly and appreciate their continuity, arterial branches and venous tributaries - that was actually therapeutic, in a way. And I Miss my dissecting-mates: The Clean-Up Group! LET’S PEEL SOMETHING AGAIN! Let’s get a cadaver, yo!
